Free Spider Coaster Crochet Pattern

Thank you so much for all the love on the Mushroom Coaster Pattern! I'm planning on making more spooky/fall items, but so far I have this Spider! I made it for my candle, but you can use it for anything! I used Big Twist Yarn. This pattern was super quick to make! I'd even say beginner-friendly!

 

Materials:

4.5 mm hook

Grey Yarn - Worsted Weight 4

Scissors

Darning Needle

Abbreviations: US Terminology

MR - Magic Ring

ch - chain

DC - Double Crochet

Sl St - Slip Stitch

Inc - Increase

Around - All Around

HDC - Half Double Crochet

SC - Single Crochet

( ) - Repeat

Tr - Treble Crochet

DTr - Double Treble Crochet

Dec - Decrease

FO - Fasten Off

Inv FO - Invisible Close

Start:

1.) MR, 12 DC, sl st, ch 3

2.) 12 DC Inc Around, sl st, ch 3

3.) DC, DC Inc Around, sl st, ch 2

4.) 2 HDC, HDC Inc Around, sl st, ch

5.) sl st around 1/4 the way, ( ch 12, HDC down the ch, SC, sl st ) x4, sl st 3, ch 3, HDC Inc, DC Inc, Tr Inc, DTr Inc, Tr Inc, DC Inc, HDC Inc, SC, sl st 3, ( ch 14, HDC 4, Dec 2, HDC down the rest of the ch, sl st ) x4, sl st Around

6.) Inv FO!
